Weekend away – Rebecca P
Fab little find. Lovely cottage with everything you need for a weekend get away. Games room an added bonus and cottage kitted out for all your needs. Clean with linen provided, plenty of room for 6 of us and didn’t feel cramped.
Fantastic girls weekend – Pho3nix1705
We spent a lovely weekend in Swallow cottage. Just perfect for a group of friends looking for some time in the country to relax and catch up. We arrived to a very warm welcome from Liz and were shown to our cottage which was comfy, clean and tidy. Cottages are located on a working farm and the games room was a great place to relax and play a few games! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a break away from busy life - fantastic location, charming cottages and friendly owners!
Family weekend away – Deborah W
Just got back from a gorgeous weekend a blacohill farm. We had 7 cottages between 24 of us and couldn't of asked for anything better. All the cottages were clean and very well equipped with everything you could think of in the kitchens. The games room was just perfect for us all to meet in after a day out/meal out. Brilliant for both kids and adults. Lovely grasses area which entertained the kids for hours with a football and scooters etc. Fantastic communication from start to finish. Can't...
Amazing family get together – Charris-ment
We stayed here this weekend as a large group of 21 for a family get together and all had a brilliant time. From point of booking, with our numerous questions before we arrived, Liz and Alastair replied promptly and did everything they could to ensure we had a great time. The best part for me was the games room with the large seating area upstairs which meant we could all be together on the evenings and the table tennis and pool table kept us all entertained. A beautiful place, lovely and quiet...
Very good value for money – Pip W
Good place to get together with a group friends as lots of separate cottages. Great ensuite rooms with good showers. Nicely furnished but kitchen equipment needed sorting out a bit. One niggle was a very strong smell of moth balls or similar in one room which we could not track down the source of and think it just have been in the carpet, that was a shame as it meant the occupant of that room didn't sleep very well.
Excellent and great location – Mrs G Dundee
Stayed here for 2 nights as husband had a course nearby and we chose this for convenience. The property is dog friendly and lots of grounds to explore. Cottage is perfect for needs, basic but more than ample... Also very reasonable price. Great location for nearby towns and local pubs....would recommend The Sun Inn in Everton.. Excellent pub food and very reasonable. We will definitely return in the future and would like to stay longer.
Brilliant place to stay! – dollyface99
Just wanted to write another quick review for this place. We stayed here for the first time about a year ago under sad circunstances followng the illness and death of my father in law. Since then we have stayed here many times more (every other month or so while visiting mother in law) and we can still say without doubt this is a fab place to stay! They bend over backwards to look after you, are very flexible and friendly. Its great if you have a dog as the cottages are dog friendly and there...
